    Why is it important USAT?

Universities across Pakistan require entry test scores to calculate merit for admission. Some universities take their own test and others do not take their own test but they take the test of other universities which take tests through UET Lahore, ETEA, NAT by NTS, NET by NUST, etc., Students are required to take many tests if they want to apply for admission in many universities and colleges depending on the tests of another university (ECAT, NET, NAT, ETEA, etc.) We have to wait for their results. Therefore, HEC announced a national test called the “Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT)” to facilitate students and universities across Pakistan.

Which degree programs are admission after USAT?

Students who wish to enroll in undergraduate programs in Engineering, Medicine, Information Technology – IT, Management, and Social Sciences must pass the USAT Entrance Test. So, some examples of such degree programs are BS Physics, BS Chemistry, BSIT, BScS, BSSE, BS Sociology, and BBA, etc.

How many USAT passing marks are required?

The USAT Entry Test, conducted by HEC‘s ETC Department, consists of two parts with a total of 100 marks. Students need to get 50% marks as passing candidates. To pass the USAT, you must have a score of 50, both objective and subjective.
